Harry Roberts Community House -  Gulf Shores, Alabama

Client: City of Gulf Shores

This project consisted of renovating a very old building in a "grandfathered" location. Although the facility had long served the citizens of Gulf Shores, the acoustics were poor, the bathrooms were tired and not really adequate. The exterior had little curb appeal and the landscaping was deteriorated from Hurricane Ivan damage. E-J Builders worked closely with the architect, Special Events and Public Works Departments of the City to suggest upgrades that would make the building look contemporary, add utility, and increase the quality of the user experience.

The exterior was stripped, treated, storm shutters and a new metal roof were added.

Once obscure bath entrances now attractive and easily visible. All new partitions, fixtures, and high quality tile made the bathooms brand new.

All new partitions, fixtures, and high quality tile made the bathooms brand new. Addtional, new recessed flourescent lighting, and acoustical drop ceilings, and reworked HVAC.

An ADA compliant bathroom was added to the building by building an add on the north elevation.
